Service Description

The IEP serves as a blueprint for your child’s special education and related services in accordance with the IDEA. Through this course, you will learn the Anatomy of the IEP and it's many different components and complexities. You will learn the types of services that can be provided through “special education” services, have a clear understanding of what all the acronyms stand for, learn who the service providers are and how they can support your child. You are a vital member of your child's SPED team! This course will prepare and empower you to become an active and informed participant by teaching you strategies for effective participation in the process and development of your child's IEP, ensuring any concerns or question are appropriately addressed by the IEP team.
